Australia Makes Own Fighter Planes
(Rec. 1 p.m.) CANBERRA, This Dav. Australia has been producing its own fighter planes which have been described as the best of their class, said the Minister for Aircraft Production (Senator Cameron). Designs, were drawn in * February last year and six months later the first machine was in the air. Flans are being developed for larger scale production of such machines. The type of Australian-built fighters has not been revealed.
