Record Month For Airmen In North

(1 p.m.) MELBOURNE, This Day. Allied airmen in Australia’s northwestern area had a record month in May for Tosses inflicted on Japanese aircraft. They destroyed 44, probably destroyed 10 and damaged 16. Most of these successes were scored by airmen stationed in the Darwin sector.
