Martinique Refugees
WASHINGTON, June 25. Approximately 1000 refugees from Martinique have arrived in New York after escaping individually or in groups to various Caribbean Islands, where a steamer collected them. They include 600 planning to join the Fighting French, also 342 sailors and merchant seamen.
