Naval Rating Hart In Dargaville Collision

As a result of a collision between a led horse and a motor car at the southern approach to the Northern Wairoa River traffic bridge at 11.30 p.m. c-n Tuesday, a passenger in the car. Len J Serrup, a naval rating, was admitted to the Northern Wairoa Hospital suffering from a fractured collarbone and a fracture at the base of the skull. His condition is serious. The driver of the car, Miss Esma Lillian Docherty, sustained slight abrasions. Two other passengers were unharmed.
