German Birthrate Down
LONDON. April 6
A big fall in the German birtnrate is shown in official statistics recording the number of live births in 1942 ar about 1,240,000, or 290,000 fewer than in 1941.
“The Times” correspondent on the German frontier says this means almost the whole of the increase achieved by pressure under the Hitler regime has been lost.
