Lost:—The Admiralty has announced the loss of the trawler Lord Hailsham. Atlantic Convoy:—Berlin radio'says that German long-range bombers attacked an Allied convoy in the Atlantic hitting and setting fire to three ships. Refugees: —Britain accepted a United States proposal for a preliminary conference on the refugee problem. Iceland Tragedy:—lt is stated that 31 perished when a mail boat between Reykjavik and the west coast sprang a leak and sank. Twenty-six bodies were recovered.
