Regent Double Feature
Combining the thrills of the West with hilarious comedy a double feature ar the Regent Theatre last: night gave patrons a high standard of entertainment.
The only way to get ahead these days is to marry the boss’s daughter, said a professor of technology, and by doing this Bruce Edwards finds his way to being manager of a family business, in “Marry the Boss’s Daughter.” Providing a riot of laughs from start: to finish the story tells of Edward’s exploits in New York, where he meets Brenda Joyce, daughter of tycoon George Barbier. He obtains a job with her help and subsequently marries her and works his way up to management of her father’s business. The second feature is one of the most entertaining western films seen this year. ‘Down Rio Grande Way” features Charles St arret t and Russell Hayden in a thrilling story concerned with Texas after (he battle of Alamo. Starrett os a government ranger has many adventures when trying to bring the state under the control of the Stars and Stripes. Teaming up with rancher Hayden, he finally breaks down a political party causing unrest in the state.
