Chinese Recapture Important Town
CHUNGKING, December 18
It is officially announced that the Chinese have recaptured Hosueh, in the western Hupeh province. Chinese forces which recaptured Hosueh inflicted 500 enemy casualties. The Associated Press comments that ( he reoccupation of Hosueh again endangers communications between Japan’s big base at Hankow and their most westerly outpost at Ichang.
