Matapouri

A dance was hold in the Matapouri hall on November 19 for Mr Jack Clements. Friends came from far and near, making one of iho biggest dances hold for some time. During the evening a presentation was made to Mr Clements and at, the same time several people spoke of their associalion with him. Mr Morrison, on behalf of the Matapouri residents; Mr. McKenzie, for Tutukaka; Mr Cliff Smith, as a member of the 1.M.R.; and Mr Tom Wakelin as a business associate. These speakers indicated how popular, and with what esteem Mr Clements is thought of throughout the Whangarei district.
