The names and addresses of jurors were kept, secret 1o save I hem from possible annoyance from Nazi persons or groups when the treason trial began, of Helmut Loiner, who was charged -with assisting' Nazi saboteurs after their landing from submarines in June. The first witness was attractive Miss Hedwig Engomann, who had already pleaded guilt y. She said she still loved Edward Kerling, one of the six executed, and told how Loiner introduced her to Kerling after the submarine landing.
