Masonic Centennial
(P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. More than usual interest is attached to the annual communication of the Masonic Grand Lodge which opened this morning, because it coincides with the Centennial order in New Zealand. Today there are 305 active lodges operating in the Dominion. The first business of importance was the installation of the Grand Master, Mr. H. G. Teagle. of Wellington, for the ensuing year. Principal officers of the Grand Lodge, which for the next two years will be located in Wellington, are (all of Wellington district): Grand Treasurer, Mr. C. D. Morpeth; Grand Registrar, Mr C. H. Taylor; President of the Board of General Purposes, Mr. C. N. Cathie; President of the Board of Benevolence, Mr. H. Hatch; Grand Director of Ceremonies, Mr. K. L. Freeman; Junior Grand Deacon, Mr. T. A. H. Dixon; Grand Superintendent of Works, Mr. J. T. Mair. District officers elected are as follows; Auckland District: Grand. Director of Ceremonies, Mr. V. Kirk; Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, Mr. H. R. A. Vialoux; Grand Bible Bearer, Mr. S. R. J. Legrice; Grand Stewards, Messrs. A. A. Bodley, J. Ross, E. A. J. Busing and E. O. Faber. Members of the Board of General Purposes: Messrs. L. A. Thompson and A. T. Begg; Member of Board of Benevolence. Mr. T. Sauvarin. Waikato District: Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies, Mr. J. Saunders; Grand Standard Bearer, Mr. E. A. Muis; Grand Pursuivant, Mr. H. Ferguson; Grand S'ewards, Messrs. A. Wilson and R. F. War; Member of the Board of General Purposes, Mr. A. E. Wilson; Member of the Board of Benevolence, Mr. A. Begbie.
