Sacked For Being " Too Humane" To Poles

NEW YORK, November 4

Hitler has replaced the Polish Gov-ernor-General (Hans Frank) with an unnamed Stojrm Troop general, says the “New York Times” Stockholm correspondent. Frank was sacked because he was “too humane” with the Poles. “The Times” Stockholm representative says the Germans have confirmed a report that British prisoners of war are working on Polish farms. They are strictly segregated from the Poles and. apparently employed on confiscated land, which is earmarked for German colonists.
