Enthusiastic Spirit Of Law And Order Section

(Special) KAITAIA, This Day. Stormy weather —and the usual monthly meeting tested the spirit of the Kaitaia Law and Order Section of the E.P.S. on Tuesday night—and it was not found wanting.

Thirty-five members attended the meeting. which was presided over by the Law and Order Controller (Sgt. Simister). First of a series of three lectures on first aid was delivered by the medical officer attached to a Royal New Zealand Air Force station (Dr. Fenwick). Added point was given to the lecture by Sgt. Simister. who quoted definite cases where knowledge of first aid had proved invaluable to law and order officers. Next meeting of the Law and Order Section is to be held in the Kaitaia Courthouse on September 14.
