Supplies For Greek Forces
BALTIMORE, June 11
King George II of Greece, who arrived by Clipper, said that Greece was in the war to stay. He would go to Washington to arrange lend-lease shipments of supplies for the Greek fighting forces. He said that the Greek army, its air corps and more than half its original navy were fighting today in many war theatres. The nation’s war effort was greatly aided by the million Greeks in Egypt.
