Dutch Prince In Canada
(Kec.-3 p.m.) OTTAWA. April 9. Prince Bernhard arrived today from Britain on a surprise visit to Princess Juliana and their two children who have been here two years. Prince Bernhard told the Canadian Press: “Although I am chiefly here to see my family, there are lots of things to be dene in connection with the Netherlands Government’s activities on this side of the Atlantic.”
Aliens.—The Attorney-General (Mr. Francis Biddle) announced today that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had arrested 7805 alien enemies up to Anril 7. of whom 4397 were Japanese, 2307 Germans and 1101 Italians. Beaverbrook.—lt is reported officially from Nassau, Bahamas Islands, that Lord Beaverbrook arrived by plane from Florida for an indefinite period of rest. He dined with the Duke and Duchess of Windsor.
