The following forecast has been made by Mr. H. M. Vincent:
Cloudy to overcast with rain following. Warm and humid conditions. North to north-easterly winds, moderate to strong, increasing and reaching gale force. Seas rising and becoming rough. Further outlook. —Rain and stormy conditions within 24 hours.
The special Northland forecast made by the Government meteorologist is:
North-easterly winds, gradually becoming strong. The weather becoming dull, with drizzle and rain developing from the north tomorrow. Temperatures mild.
Further outlook: Unsettled and possibly stormy weather.
