The following forecast has been made by Mr IT. M. Vincent:
Scattered heavy thundershowers, particularly in the afternoon. Warm and humid conditions. Variable and light to moderate breezes, easterlies prevailing. Seas smooth to moderate. Further outlook: Unsettled with occasional rain.
The special Northland forecast made by the Government meteorologist is: Light to moderate southerly to south-easterly winds. The weather will be cloudy, mild and humid, with a scattered drizzle, especially in the east. Further outlook: Little change.
