[Special to “Northern Advocate"] HAMILTON, This Day At the Frankton stock sale yesterday good prices were maintained for beef, but fewer fat sheep were penned. Baconers were in good demand, but other pig classes were steady to easier. The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. reports: Medium prime fat bullocks, £ 10/15/to £l2; light, £9/10/- to £lO/12/6; fat Shorthorn cows, £6 to £6/15/ ; fat Jersey cows, £5 to £5/17/6: boner cows, £k to £4/17/6; vealers, £1 to £l/17/6; potter bulls, £l/5/- to £l/15/-. Prime fat wethers, 24/6 to 25/6; medium, 21/- to 23/6; just killable, 19/- to 20/6; maic.'en fat ewes, to 18/-; fat lambs, £1 to 25/6. Heavy baconers, £3/18/- to £4/4/-; medium, £3/10/- to £3/17/-; lighter, £3 to £3/9/-; buttermilk and heavy porkers, £2/12/- to £2/19/-; porkers, £2 to £2/19/-: porkers, £2 to £2/10/-; Fighter. £l/5/- to £l/18/-: stores, sows, £1 to £l/10/-; large stores. 22/- to 27/6; medium. 17/- to 21/-; slips, 9/- to 14/-; weaners, 6/- to 8/-.
