Aucklander First At New Canadian School

QUEBEC, February 17 Leading-Aircraftman John Ellis, of Auckland, became the first airman to receive his wings at the No. 9 Bombing and Gunnery School in Canada when he graduated at the head ot his class. The school is the last to be established under the Commonwealth Air Training Plan. It was opened early in December, six months ahead of schedule.
