Greek Congratulations On Russian Successes

(Rec. 11 a.m.) LONDON, Jan. 9. King George of Greece sent a telegram to M. Stalin as follows: “Please accept my most heartfelt congratulations for the continued triumph of your armies, with the deepest wishes that the new year may see the victory of the Allied cause.” M. Stalin replied: “Please accept my sincere thanks for your warm congratulations on the occasion of the victories of the Red Army against the German invaders, I express my conviction in the final crushing of our common enemy and the rebirth of an independent Greece.” \
