[Per Press Association—Copyright] WELLINGTON, This Day. In fining Rose Scorringe £5 on each of two charges of fortune-telling, Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., warned her that a repetition would mean prison. It was stated on behalf of the police that on a number of occasions women had been seen leaving Mrs. Scorringe’s house in Te Aro.
