Whareora Calf Club’s Winning Way
Fifteen animals paraded at a school 'where the total roll is only 13, places jWhareora in a strong position for the aggregate shield. i That the team of three beating Whareora will be the winner of the * teams championship to be held at 'Rugby Park next Friday is the opinion of the judges (Messrs. K. M. Stevens and H. Parkin). Waipu’s Wastage Ringworm among the calves and measles among the children reduced the calf club parade at Waipu from 44 to 20. Public interest was keen, and the result of the adult voting indicated that there are many first class calf judges in Waipu. Simultaneously with calf judging, sweet peas and associated school work were judged by Mrs. Logan and Miss Pickmere. WRAREORA (Judges Messrs. K. M, Stevens and H. Parkin).
