Charged With Murder At Palmerston North

WELLINGTON, This Day.
Ronald Herbert Mellar (24) a railway surfaceman, appeared before Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., charged with murdering Ida Gwen Speight at Palmerston North on November 25.
He was remanded to appear at Palmerston North on December 11. Mr. Hardie Boys appeared for accused, representing Mr. L. G. Sinclair, of Palmerston North.
