Weather Affected Air War In November

(Rec. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 3. The Under-Secretary for Air (Captain H. Balfour) stated in the House of Commons that aircraft of the Bomber Command attacked Germany on 10 nights in November and on six. of these occasions objectives included ports and harbours.

Asked if weather conditions were not exceptionally bad during last month, he replied that he could not compare meteorological conditions in relation to previous weather, but he would say that the weather affected both sides and apart from shipping operations the enemy made only three attacks of any size on objectives in Britain during' November.
