There was' a good attendance at the November meeting, Mrs. Hirtzel presiding. The roll call was “an emergency dish for an unexpected guest.” The golden chain was native flowers.. - A limerick competition was held, Miss Blakey being the judge. Mrs. Dale was awarded first and Mrs. Beale second. Items were given by Mrs. T. Drummond, I of Moerewa. The competition resulted: Peanut brownies, all equal; skull cap, Mrs. Babe 1. A very enjoyable afternoon was closed with the singing of the National Anthem.
