300 Per Cent. Increase At Glenbervie Calf Club
Eighteen club calves were paraded at Glenbervie yesterday as against five last year. Children have already set their goal for 1942 at 30 animals. Some high-class Shorthorns and Jerseys were paraded, and, in the opinion of the judges (Messrs H. M. May and J. A. Cutforth), both breeds will make their presence felt at the championship on December 12. Increased interest was also displayed by parents, who attended in the largest numbers since the inauguration of the movement. GLENBERVIE (Judges: Messrs H. M. May and J. A. Cutforth).
