fSpecial to “Northern Advocate”] AUCKLAND, This Day. The parents and relatives of Private Douglas Neil Henry, aged 22, single, the Expeditionary Force soldier who failed to return to his home at Te Akau after visiting a friend’s home on the night of September 23, are now' offering/a substantial reward to anyone disclosing information that will lead to his discovery. At the time of his disappearance Private Henry was on special leave from Trentham. Despite an extensive search no trace has yet been found of him. Originally nearly 200 police officers, territorials and residents were engaged in a search of the district and inquiries have been made throughout the length and breadth of New Zealand. < Private Henry is of exceptional build, being 6ft. 6in. in height and 16 stone in weight. At the time of his disappearance he was wearing battle dress.
