At the Eketahuna Magistrate’s Court last week before Mr. H. P. Lawry, S.M., a married woman,.Mrs. D. Peck, of Eketahuna, was sent to gaol for one month with hard labour for ill-treating one of her children. The child has been taken care of by the Child Welfare Officer.
