Serb Guerillas Wipe Out Enemy Column

(Rec. 2 p.m.) JERUSALEM, Nov. 17. In a fierce week-end battle southwest of Nich, in Serbia. Serbian guerillas wiped out a German expeditionary column numbering 320. All independent guerilla bands are now united under the command of Colonel Mikhailovitch, who is organising offensives against a whole series of enemy garrisons in Yugoslavia. The 'Germans are rushing up reinforcements to Serbia from other countries and have begun arresting intellectuals for hostages.
