Eileen Osborne —Your letter came a long time 3go. Eileen, and I'm sorry to be late answering it. Hope all your ills are better by now and that you and Dad had happy birthdays. Irene Baker. —Springtime when you wrote your letter. Irene, but summertime when it is answered —though the weather is a bit mixed. Hope Duchess is successful. The S.P. had a lien called Duchess—she was very haughty. Audrey Ralls—Sorry to be so long answering your letter Audrey, but we’ve had a very busy time at H.Q. The machines will be a help. Princess knows about such things, but I haven’t been on farms much. Violet Urceg—Burning our cherished efforts is a heart-breaking job. but it pays, doesn't it, Violet. The S.P.s are very well at present and very thrilled with farm life and the animals. Eileen Draflin—Everyone helps, Eileen. Thanks very much. Wc are all getting on well in Kaitaia and the "whoops” are all gone. No, it's not nearly ns big as VVhangarei. Brian ——? Onerahi —A nice long letter, Brian, but put your full name next time, please. Very glad to learn you’re a Scout. Hope you had a good camp. Small sister can .join—we have a member only a few months old, so nine years is quite old. We all like Kaitaia, thank you, Brian, and thanks also for the stamps. Frank Cocurullo —How do you like your job. Frank? You’ll be adding to the bank account at that rate.
