[Special to “Nm-thm-n A^vc^te”! AUCKLAND, This Day. At the Town Hall last night, in a match for the professional heavyweight wrestling championship of New Zealand, between Lofty Blomfield, of Auckland, holder of the title, and Ken Kenneth, also of Auckland, the challenger. Blomfield won. After some bright exchanges for five roi nds, Kenneth was caught in an octopus clamp in the sixth, and he resisted for several seconds before being forced into submission. He had to receive massage to his left knee from his seconds during the interval, and he was then assisted to his corner. When the gong sounded for the opening of the seventh round Kenneth rose from his chair, but was still limping badly and the referee awarded the decision to Blomfield.
