A shipping agent, John Spiers Robertson, was yesterday charged with wilfully making false returns of income (four charges) as were his associated company. Wild and Robertson, Ltd., and Ikama Taumu Sawmills, Ltd. (three charges). All pleaded guilty and were fined by Mr. G. G. Chisholm, S.M.. a total of £4OO. to be apportioned between the defendants. Wild and Robertson. Ltd., were also tinea ,~30 for failing to deduct social security charges from salaries paid to Robertson.
