Waipu Dairy Cows Sell To £lo/7/6
Walter Wakelin, Ltd.,' reports a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr. R. Creswell, at Waipu. The herd of choice Jersey cows in milk, some of which had been milking through the winter, sold to £lO/7/6, and averaged £B/11/- per head. Choice yearling Jersey heifers sold from £5/10/- to £6; weaner Jersey heifers made to £2; dead stock, sundries, etc., also sold well.
