Rangitane Radio Officer Commended
TPer Press Association. —Copyright] WELLINGTON, This Day. The general manager of the New Zealand Shipping Company (Mr C. M. Turrell) has received advice from the chairman of directors of the company in London (Mr C. J Cowan) that the first radio officer of the Rangitane (Mr Hallett) has been commended for his conduct when the mail steamer was attacked by German raiders on November 27 last. Mr Hallett is now living in Wellington.
