Unexpected Drama At English Theatre
LONDON, Oct. 8. Raiders last night appeared over western England and a town in south Wales, where three people were killed by blasts from bombs. In a south coast town bombs were dropped 100 yards from a theatre and sent the players staggering across the stage, but they immediately carried on. The audience also quickly settled down and watched the performance to the end.
