Stopped World Tour To Join A.I.F.
(Roc. 2 p.m.) SYDNEY. This Day. Corporal William Henry Early, of Te Kuiti. who slopped a. world tour at Sydney when the war broke out to enlist in the A.1.F., is posted as a prisoner of war in a recent casualty list.
He sailed from Sydney with the first A.I.F. contingent and fought in Libya, Greece and Crete. He was educated at the Massey Agricultural College, Palmerston North.
