Record Low In Air Raid Victims During August

[British Official Wireless] (Rec. 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Sept. 15. Civilian air raid casualties last month are by far the lowest for any month since last year, when the heavy attack began. The figure of 305, according to official statistics, comprises 169 killed or missing, believed killed and 136 injured or detained in hospital. The next lowest figures are those for June last with 860. The highest figures are for September last year, when 6955 were killed and 10,624 seriously injured.
