My Pigs
(Sent in by Laura Johnson, Church Road, Kaitaia.) On a market day, when the wind was high, I opened the gate that led to my sty, I gathered my piglets, small and brown. And started off for the market town. The country folk laughed loud and long, As I pushed my way through the market throng. I sold my pigs for a handsome sum. And finished my day in the market fun. —Copied.
