Ruatangata

Owing to inclement weather the attendance at the August meeting was smaller than usual. Mrs. Hodge presided. The roll-call, “A riddle,” was well responded to. The possibility of converting the hall into a hospital in an emergency was discussed. A competition, ‘‘A novelty for the bedroom,” was won by Miss L. Hodge. Afternoon tea brought the afternoon to a close. Mrs. T. Wright and Miss C. Tates acted as hostesses.
