The Whangai’ei and District Home Guard Rugby XV to play the visiting Orakei team at Rugby Park on Saturday has been chosen by the selector (Mr. C. Rumbal) as follows:
Forwards: Bourke, Geo. Niha. K. Babe, McConnell, G. Arnos. Hinton. H. Shortland, H. Browne. Backs: Hobbs. E. Shortland. E. Meyer (captain). Jack Ferguson, Thorpe. J. Andrew. Clothfcr. Reserves: Backs. H. Going. E. Hooper; forwards, John Norris, Finlay. The referee will be Mr. F. Williams. Players will assemble at Rugby Park at 1.30 p.m.
