Advice From Red Cross Of Prisoners Of War

Advice has now been received by Mr. and Mrs. D. Lorimer. of Portland, that their son. Private C. D. Lorimer, who has been missing since the fighting in Greece, is a prisoner of war in Germany. No information can be obtained as to the whereabouts of another son, Private A. R. Lorimer who was reported missing after the Crete campaign. Help Of Red Cross As no official advice could be obtained by Mr. and Mrs. Lorimer, a cable was sent to the International Red Cross at Geneva and within three days a reply was received stating that Private C. D. Lorimer was a prisoner of war in Germany, his number and the number of his camp being given. In regard to Private A. R. Lorimer the Red Cross stated that this soldier could not at present be traced.
