More Canadian Troops In Britain

[British Official Wireless] (Rec. noon) RUGBY, Sept. 3. Thousands more Canadian soldiers have arrived in Britain and with them have come more American technicians for work in Britain, Canadian girls recruited for the transport corps and more American nurses joining the field hospital. A message to the Canadian troops from the Prime Minister of Canada (Mr. Mackenzie King) was read at the ceremony of welcome. American Nurses Twenty-two American nurses who arrived in Britain with a new batch of Canadian troops were met by Dr. J. E. Gordon and Dr. W. L. Hawley, of Harvard. They are joining the Harvard field hospital of the American Red Cross in Britain, where 40 American nurses are already working. Two groups of American nurses have been cn ships that have been torpedoed. Six nurses have been lost.
