Some Might Be Required At Early Dale

[Per Press Association. —Copyright] WELLINGTON, This Day.

Commenting on the overseas ballot published today, the Minister for Manpower (Mr. Semple) said that the medical examination of the 23,825 men called would be proceeded with immediately, but whilst it was not likely that the majority would be called up for some months, it was anticipated that some might be required at a comparatively early date. It was advisable, therefore, that all men concerned should make arrangements so that they might be available for posting to camps at fairly short notice if required.
