G. S. Laird, with a score of 41 points, won the Stableford bogey played at the week-end by members of the Whangarei Golf Club. . Other good scores were: H. F. Buckley 37, S. J. Wood 36, F. C. Walton 36, G. D. Batcup 34. DUFF CUP Best scores in the second round of the Duff Cup competition played by members of the Whau Valley Golf Club were: O. Georgeson, 84 —12, 72; M. QUALIFIERS FOR FARMERS’ CUP Best scores in the second round of the eclectic and the qualifying .round of the Farmers’ Cup competition played by members of the Whau Valley Ladies’ Golf Club were: Mrs. Franklin, 92 —22, 70; Miss Tucker, 104—33, 71; Mrs. Wills, 112—36, 76.
