Wartime Conditions Mar Sydney Sheep Show
(Rec. 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The annual Sheep Show in Sydney is less attractive than usual, due to wartime conditions. Only a few of the major Merino studs were represented, but Corriedales, of which there are upwards of 100 exhibits, are better than ever, revealing particularly well-grown carcases and extra heavy fleeces.
The competition among Border Leicester's is formidable, although many of the sheep lack the condition of former years. Every class of Southiown is of outstanding quality.
