Extend Blockade Of China Coast
SHANGHAI, June 15
The Japanese naval spokesman in Shanghai announced the extension of the blockade of the China coast to waters 120 miles north and south of Swatow. He said the blockade was to prevent supplies from reaching China in foreign ships plying to and from Hongkong and other points on the south coast and points in the north. It is announced from Tokio that the puppet leader (Wang Ching-wei) will arrive in the Japanese capital on June 17 to discuss co-operation between China and Japan.
A Chungking despatch says that three squadrons of Japanese bombers raided Chungking today, but the casualties are few.
