M?ngakahia Soldiers' Gifts

Five soldiers of the district on leave were the recipients of inscribed wristlet watches last week. They were Privates J. Neale (Parakao), R. B. M. Millar (Opoukeno), “Tui” McMillan (Parakao), P. Pou (Pakotai), W. Morgan (Pakotai). Owing to the restrictions it was impossible to accord them the honours due, but the wonderful response from the residents enabled the patriotic committee to send each man a useful present and best wishes.
