Japanese Seize American Goods

NEW YORK, May 26. A message from Hanoi states that the Japanese military authorities have seized 10,000,000 dollars’ worth of goods belonging to two United States companies from Haiphong warehouses. The goods were en route to China, when the Japanese entered Indo-China last year. The Japanese claim that the American companies are merely blinds covering Chinese owners.
