U.S. Navy’s New Sea Mission
(Received 1.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, May 22

Admiral Nimitz, Chief of the Navy Bureau for Navigation, told the committee that he was not at liberty to disclose the missions. He agreed that it was conceivable that the bulk of the navy at present in the Pacific might be split up in order to carry cut special missions.
