Couple Arrested At Waipapakauri

[Special to “Northern Advocate"] KAITAIA. This Day

Arrested at Waipapakauri yesterday by Detective Finlay, of Whangarei, and Sergeant Simister, of Kaitaia, Herbert Leach Patterson, alias MacDonald, and Hannah Thomas, alias Barbara Muir, appeared in the Kaitaia police court today. . Patterson was charged with attempting to pay hotel beard with a valueless cheque and Thomas with theft at Waihi. Both accused were remanded to appear at Whangarei where other charges arc pending. Mr. J. T. B. Taaffe presided.
